Successful funding for Giant Gippsland Earthworm project
In June 2024, the Gippsland Threatened Species Action Group and Bass Coast Landcare were awarded an Australian Government grant to study ‘Threat Mitigation and Soil Hydrology for the Giant Gippsland Earthworm’ - a step forward in understanding the species and its habitat.
